Career Highlight:

Teaching for over 10 years in the public school system in both Michigan and Illinois. Being involved with the Art Benefiting Children event...creating art for a great cause.

Greatest Life Accomplishment:
Living a life where I love my job of teaching, creating wonderful art, and enjoying friends and family, while living in the great city of Chicago.
How I got involved:

Last year being a Metromint All-Star made me realize how much of an impact I can have on the people I work with around me. Talking about wellness, teaching students about making
healthy choices, and donating to various events made me want to continue on with this great effort.

I tried Metromint in Burlington, Vermont and searched the internet to find where I could buy the product in Chicago when I stumbled upon the All-Star program...lucky me!

Inspiration:

My inspiration for teaching comes from the children I teach.
They have a thirst for knowledge and will ask a million questions to find the answer. They keep me on my toes each and everyday...one needs to stay healthy and hydrated for 32 third graders.

With art my inspiration comes from anything and everything...words are powerful tools.

How I conserve resources:
Reuse and Recycle.

How I discovered Metromint:
Burlington International Airport in Vermont...After a wedding in Vermont for the weekend, I was passing through the terminal the dots on the bottle caught my attention. Then I saw
mint+water...pure genius.
